Talea

TALEA is a partition wall system that performs the dual function of a space dividing element and of a container element designed for the classification and storage of documents and work tools, modular and coordinable with the entire Nordwall partition wall range.

The TALEA system, made up of modular elements that can be adapted to the user’s different needs, allows any type of project to be brilliantly resolved with maximum flexibility and rapid assembly, thanks to the prefabricated components that do not require any modification or finishing on site.

Product Features

The TALEA wall, with a depth of 463 mm, is designed for bi-frontal use and for reversing doors, and can be used completely as a storage compartment, with the sole exclusion of the horizontal and vertical adjustment strips intended for the passage of any installations. It is available both in the open and closed version with hinged doors and can be completed with various accessories (drawers, filing drawers, filing frames, etc.). The doors are available blind or in safety glass and are fixed to the sides by means of hinges with an opening angle of 105° made of nickel-plated steel. Safety knob handles with nickel-plated finish and an integrated key lock option with 2-point fixed bar are provided. The structure of the TALEA wall unit consists of side panels fitted with pressure elements at both ends that allow for rapid levelling of the system and perfect alignment of the doors. The backrest is fixed to the sides by means of snap-on devices designed to allow back-door reversibility without intervening on the structure.

The basic shelves and sides are made of 22 mm thick, scratch-resistant, class E1 melamine chipboard, with the two ends finished by applying special 5 mm thick PVC edging to act as a dust cover, noise suppressor and stop damper. The doors, backs and adjustment strips are made of 18 mm thick, class E1 scratch-resistant melamine chipboard. The side panels are fitted with 15 mm adjustment adjusters at the bottom for horizontal alignment and continuous vertical holes, 32 mm apart, to allow the shelves, doors and backs to be attached. The mobile metal shelves are made of 8/10 epoxy-powder-coated sheet steel, shaped in the lower part with file-holding ribs, and are fixed to the sides by means of special supports to be inserted in the vertical perforations. TALEA wall doors are made of extruded aluminium pre-treated profile frames with gaskets on three sides; they are shaped in thickness so that they can be snapped in and fixed to the structure by means of non-visible screws. They contain solid or glazed sashes, complete with hinges, handles and locks.
